How to configure the Topics course format in Moodle 2.
The course format defines the layout of a course. The Topics format organizes the course into topic section.
Take the following steps to configure a course in the Topics format.
Navigate to the Setting block and click the "Edit settings" link.
Choose "Topics format" in the Format drop-down menu.
Scroll down the page and click "Save changes."
Note that the sections are now numbered as topics.
In editing mode, click the "edit icon" in order to change the topic summary name.
